Kutna Hora – A Journey into the Heart of Bohemian History

Escape the bustle of Prague and uncover the historic charm of Kutna Hora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site just an hour’s scenic drive away. I’ll pick you up directly from your hotel and take you on an unforgettable journey through this medieval gem.

Our first stop is the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary) – one of Europe’s most unique and thought-provoking landmarks, decorated with the bones of over 40,000 people. A truly unforgettable experience.

Next, we’ll explore the city center, where cobbled streets and Gothic architecture transport you back in time. Prepare to be awed by the stunning St. Barbara’s Church, a masterpiece of High Gothic architecture.

Kutna Hora may be small, but its rich history and intimate atmosphere make it ideal for exploration without exhausting walks.

Of course, after the tour, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant where you can savor authentic Czech dishes and, naturally, taste beer from a local brewery.

Optional Add-on: Silver Mine Adventure
For the adventurous, I can arrange a 90-minute guided tour about the silver rush in medieval times, including 30 minutes underground in an authentic medieval mine!

❗ Not suitable for those with claustrophobia — but safe, exciting, and truly one-of-a-kind! To enter the silver mine, you will need to descend 160 steps. The lowest point inside is 120 cm (approximately 47 inches), so you will need to bend down. It's recommended that visitors do not have issues with knees or back. The narrowest passage is 40 cm (approximately 16 inches).
